KarateTraining coursesThe training course is a special course given by one or more instructors or international Masters. This is the moment when the experienced karateka asks questions and learns new things. For beginners, it is a nice opportunity to experience different techniques and to hear experts' comments. The SKIBF is very pleased about inviting several times a year famous experts such as Senseï Kanazawa (known world-wide and recognized by the specialized press, he is the founding father of the SKIF and a student of Master G. Funakoshi), Senseï Murakami (instructor at Honu Dojo in Japon), Senseï Miura (world-wide expert, heading SKI-Italy, recognized for his efficiency in blocking), etc. But training courses can also be given by the federation's chief-instructor who brings all dojos' instructors up to the same level (in this case, we talk about a frame training course) or gives practitioners a different view than the one given at the club (federal training course). Training courses enable practitioners to increase their karate knowledge and to learn advanced karate techniques. For competitors, there are also ' contest ' training courses during which experienced instructors share their knowledge and where the competitor has the opportunity to train with practitioners who do not belong to the same club. This is a nice opportunity to test oneself and prepare oneself for various fighting techniques or to practice katas. Training courses are organized all over the country and last sometimes several days (e.g. : the SKIBF summer training course lasts 3 days). For those who want to, they can also take part in training courses abroad when these are open to all federations. |
